Former Mr Jabalpur, Gurmeet Choudhary became a household name when he played the role of Lord Ram in Ramayan which won him many awards and accolades including the New Talent Award of the Best New Male Actor. He then appeared in the reality show Pati, Patni Aur Woh with his then fiancée, Debina Bonnerjee. He once again rose to prominence with his next show Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi where he played a business tycoon Maan Singh Khurana.
